Alios’ product development programs are based on two fundamental approaches: (i) a proprietary hyperglycosylation technology which enables novel, highly potent, long-acting interferon molecules; and (ii) small molecules that target host mechanisms responsible for antiviral activity of interferons, but without activating many of the pathways responsible for unwanted side effects associated with current therapies. |
