Glycoferon
Glycoferon is our proprietary long-acting type I interferon for the treatment of hepatitis C infection. In initial experiments, Glycoferon demonstrated 1000-fold greater in vitro biological potency compared to pegylated IFN alpha. Alios believes that Glycoferon has the potential to be a once weekly therapy with optimized efficacy to treat a broad range of both acute and chronic viral infections. |
